A Success Story
|
| The Residences at Dockside, in cooperation with the
United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Gifts in Kind program
and ACHIEVEability, delivered two new refrigerators and other surprises
to two families this holiday
season. The appliances were part of Dockside’s continuing philanthropic
project, in which they donate new and like-new appliances to families
in need throughout
the Delaware Valley through the United Way’s Gifts in Kind program. Watch the news coverage. |
Help United Way advance the common good by strengthening the nonprofit community. United Way invites companies throughout the region to LIVE UNITED by donating surplus equipment or unsold merchandise to the Gifts in Kind program.
Donating to Gifts in Kind not only reduces inventory, storage and disposal costs but can also garner valuable tax deductions.
Giving is Easy
Contact United Way and the Gifts in Kind staff will locate the participating community agency that will benefit most from your donated items. The agency receiving the donation will then arrange for pick-up.
To donate to Gifts in Kind, or to learn more about the program contact Camara C. Jordan at 215 665 2468 or camara@uwsepa.org.
