Join United Way of Southeastern PA in supporting
NPower PA’s 5th Annual Tech Volunteer Days
on June 26th & July 16th
You’re
invited to participate in NPower PA’s 5th Annual Tech Volunteer Days on June 26th and July 16th for
their Stable & Secure Scan developed to help nonprofits assess the strengths
and vulnerabilities in their technology infrastructure and point toward best
IT practices by using
a simple web-based assessment tool. The assessment is designed to help nonprofits
determine how to protect their valuable data and resources.
Why is a Stable and Secure Environment Important to Nonprofits?
A nonprofit with a stable and secure infrastructure and skilled staff can better leverage limited resources to increase productivity, visibility and philanthropic support. NPower PA is taking the lead in defining standards and helping nonprofits to build and maintain stable and secure infrastructures that will enable them to use technology more effectively to better serve their communities.
Volunteers will begin with an orientation at the United Way’s center city office and then visit other nonprofits throughout the greater Philadelphia region. The assessments will help determine the state of nonprofit technology infrastructure in our area. NPower PA will work with industry experts and nonprofit leaders to achieve more stable and secure environments within the nonprofit sector. For more information on volunteering or to learn how your agency can benefit visit www.npowerpa.org or contact Jeremy Heffner, Client Development Coordinator at 215-557-1559 x203 or jeremy@npowerpa.org.
